Was so lovely to take my elderly sister with her walker out for the day on Popeye. We all had a fabulous day together. The Scones were delicious and the views of the city and surrounds were beautiful even on a dull rainy day. Thankyou.

Received an email on the 28th to say it’s been cancelled which is fine but then TripAdvisor charged my card twice for the two bookings even tho they emailed to cancel it a day before.

What a way to relive a childhood memory with my own kids. We put the Great State voucher to good use and had Devonshire Tea whilst cruising the river. Grace was very knowledgeable and gave us some interesting facts and history along the trip. The definite highlight for my children was the opportunity to "drive the boat" and sit up in the captains chair. Love to do it again!

We were very fortunate to combine our Popeye experience with a beautiful relaxing over night stay at the InterContinental Hotel which was so convenient to be able to just walk out the back door and down to the Popeye mooring wharf and casually board it for our Devonshire 12.00noon River Torrens commentary tour .. we experienced a very pleasant comfortable relaxing cruise complete with a very informative cometary while enjoying an extremely tasty fresh Devonshire scones strawberry jam and cream .. thoroughly recommended .. River Torrens Scenic Cruise .. we loved it !!

What a lovely float along the river. Easy access, great commentary, lovely way to spend some time and learn a bit about Adelaide at the same time. Thoroughly recommend!

We are interstate travellers and had hoped for a relaxing cruise on the river on a hot day. Big mistake. We did not enjoy for the following reasons: 1. Wooden bench seats - no back support ouch! 2. Diesel engine too loud - strained to hear commentary. 3. Poor roof acoustics - chatter + engine noise = headache 4. Roof design prevents viewing of buildings & up embankments. 5. The Captain’s monotone in delivering commentary. He didn’t want to be there & neither did I. We couldn’t wait to get off. All this for the bargain price of $24 per adult. I think not!!

What a wonderful relaxing cruise along the Torrens. Skipper Mark was fun, friendly & a wealth of great information. The riverside scenery was beautiful. The Devonshire teas were delicious......and very filling! ( We didn't need lunch afterwards! ) Thank you Popeye cruises ....a South Australian experience to be proud of.

We had a lovely cruise on the River Torrens today on perfect weather. Our captain was knowledgeable about Adelaide’s history, much I wasn’t aware of. Very interesting. Will definitely do this again. Wonderful experience.

My husband had been on Popeye as a child so while visiting Adelaide we wanted to take our daughter on the cruise. Lovely helpful hosts on board. Very relaxing way to see Adelaide from the river. Great coffee too. Our daughter loved it!
